Ok, somehow Friday was dropped off the calendar. We know we worked on Friday, but what did we do? Is it just us or is everyone having "overload" problems?
We made bath salts, did labels, is that all?
With a late start and "K's" brother visiting from Florida we didn't have much time to be creative, we mixed up several batches of bath salts, using small 2 ounce containers which are the perfect size for individual bath salts. We haven't dolled up the containers yet with ribbon and what not, but did want to show you Friday wasn't just about nothing.

The scents we chose for the bath salts are Yuzu (begins with top notes of mandarin, tangerine, lemon satsuma and ruby red grapefruit, middle notes of bergamot, and base notes of oakmoss.) and Bedtime Bath (soothing bedtime blend of mandarin, lavender and chamomile, neroli and lily of the valley. Bottom notes of hay and musk.), both from Natures Garden ( +Natures Garden ) the last scent was Lily of the Valley from Lebermuth ( +Lebermuth Co ). To jazz up the Yuzu we added a little ground orange peel which caused the salt mix to darken just a bit to a soft pale, pale orange.
The ground orange peel should help exfoliate the skin. We used Avocado oil in all the bath salts, which is a great moisturizer.
Ok, didn't want to leave with that picture of our sugar scrubs, now that they are gussied up with labels and such they look much nicer.
Not a soap making day but the bath salts are nice and smell terrific, so we were somewhat productive, basically we just didn't want last Friday to slip away completely unobserved.
